Lizzie Kennedy has a cordon bleu diploma from the world famous *Tante Marie School graduating as the top student in her year.  She also has many interesting stories to recount from her years of entertaining within the diplomatic community.

You may remember Lizzie when she ran “who’s cooking” (2002 – 2006), Northern Ireland’s first ever cookery school.  Lizzie then moved to live in Washington DC and since coming home has decided to return to what she knows and loves best – cooking!

About Lizzie

“I am inviting people to come and cook with me in my own home which has two kitchens, a warm friendly feel and a relaxed, informal atmosphere. I am instilling confidence and inspiration and because the classes are small there’s plenty of time to teach basic knife skills, and more advanced techniques, to suit all abilities” says Lizzie.  “My approach is to produce deliciously simple food that can be dressed elegantly if you want to entertain and really impress. I am definitely a down to earth cook, not a chef.........no scary tantrums here when things don’t go right – that’s all part of the learning process, it’s great to see how to rectify the mistakes we can all make”.

“we had such fun - picking up so many tips.  The setting and facilities were excellent – a wonderful day and I am really looking forward to the next one” Helen
